Black and White Photo Class

This came was a part of my first assignment for my black and white film class. This picture is one of the few I scanned. More black and white photos (death valley, studio shots and portraiture) to come when I get back to school.

More Pictures to Come

The majority of what I've been shooting recently is black and white film, so I won't be able to post those until I get back to school and am able to use the film scanner. I'm in the process of digging out all my old photos and posting them. Stay Tuned.

Yosemite

These are pictures from my senior retreat to Yosemite during high school. I used slide film and cross processed it as C-41 film to get that saturated effect in the pictures. None of these pictures were manipulated with photoshop (besides the cropping).

Blogging

I've been shooting since my freshman year of high school. I was really into taking pictures for my highschool newspaper and kept shooting afterwards but never kept an active portfolio of my work. Hopefully this blog will serve as a rolling portfolio and will encourage me to shoot more. I've been slacking lately. Recently, I've been shooting a lot of black and white film and printing in the darkroom for my B&W photo class this past semester. I'll post those pictures as soon as I get back to school and am able to use the film scanner. Take a look, criticize, tell me what you like and what you don't. I'm going to try to post as many of my old pics as I can in the next couple of days.
